Our story

From a drivers' stop to a family landmark

Umar Restaurant began as a humble drivers' restaurant on the Toba Tek Singh – Gojra bypass — a place for people on the road to eat well and quickly. Word travelled with the travellers: the karahi was fresh, the tea was “so good”, and there was no long waiting.

Today it is upgraded for everyone: a proper family environment and private dining room alongside the highway welcome, beef, mutton, chicken and vegetable dishes from the karahi kitchen, a charcoal grill, deg biryani — and pizza from the Pizzeria Palace side of the house.
